PRODUCTION: From clay to art
Each jar is hand-formed by me from clay. I will implement your wishes as best I can – but, of course, in my own style. I will send you a photo for approval during the process. The jar then dries for about 2 weeks. Afterward, I hand-paint it using partially custom-mixed underglazes. The first firing takes place at over 900 degrees, before I cover the jar with a transparent glaze and perform the second firing at 1050 degrees. This process takes several weeks – with luck, the jar will be ready after 5 weeks, but it can sometimes take up to 8 weeks depending on my workload. Before I ship the jar, you will receive a photo of the finished piece.

MY STYLE: Creative and charmingly imperfect
- My handmade products are characterized by their creative shapes and colors. My style is deliberately imperfect – this gives each piece its unique charm.
- I often mix colors myself; the final shade cannot be predicted exactly and only reveals itself after the final firing. Underglaze is tricky.
- Due to the underglaze, the finish may be rough in some areas, especially on larger black or white surfaces.
- The final size of the jar cannot be predicted exactly, as the shrinkage of the clay varies during the firing process.
- All jars are branded with my name on the bottom
